In a Nutshell: Carlotta’s foster says: “She is a much different dog than the shy timid one I took in about 3 weeks ago. Her personality is still emerging as she gets more relaxed and confident. She now comes to me for pets, engages briefly in self-play and play with my resident dog. I think she would ok as the solo dog, but I feel that some of her recent playful behaviors have been influenced by my small resident dog. She even mimics the way my dog Kamali'i "plays" with the cat, no roughhousing but she will get up close, though for the most part ignores him. She will often but not always be in the same room with me and at night she prefers to sleep in the living room. Carlotta is well behaved, potty trained, decent at recall, a sweet and gentle soul. I can honestly say that she checks all the boxes. I think she will require some time, patience and gentle handling to warm up to a new home/family, but when she does, she will be your best dog.”
