Lemonhead - I’ll be at the AC for meet & greets on 4/10!

Lemonhead will be a the Adoption Center and available to meet/adopt on Friday, April 10th, from 2:30-6:30pm (or until adopted). We’re located at 5132 NE Sandy Blvd. Come by to see if it’s a match, or just to say hi!

In a Nutshell: Don't believe the name - Lemonhead is a sweetie. She embodies the adage "don't judge a book by its cover"-- she looks tough with her muscular physique, but she is gentle and sensitive. She is truly a sweet girl who forms strong bonds with her people and only wants to be by your side. She follows her humans like a little shadow and finds comfort being close, happily settling wherever her family is. At night, she sleeps peacefully in a crate in her foster's bedroom and does well with routine.

She is quiet in the house, listens well, cuddles with her guardians and is protective of them, she easily allows any necessary handling including baths. She is a quick learner, has learned sit and down very well, working on stay and leave it. She had a rough early life but is now mostly potty trained. She walks loose leash most of the time during her twice daily walks right by our side with only a few exceptions. With training, her prey drive has improved with reactions limited to squirrels and reactive dogs and no longer most birds or calm passing dogs.

She loves on all humans that greet her on walks including dog savvy kids.
