In a Nutshell: Lowell is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and loyal pup who loves to cuddle, follow his people around, and be part of daily life. He’s smart, eager to please, and a quick learner with a great balance of playful energy and calm. He’s just as happy going for walks or playing as he is napping quietly by your side.
He enjoys watching birds and squirrels (his favorite “TV”) and would love a home with a good window view or access to nature. He’s done well around other dogs, friendly and curious, with nice play skills—and may enjoy a canine companion. He’s also comfortable in different environments, handling both neighborhood and busier settings well.
Lowell is potty trained and sleeps calmly through the night (on his back). On leash, he’s still improving and can get excited, especially around wildlife, but he responds well to guidance and is making steady progress.
He can get a little mouthy during play when excited but redirects easily with toys. Because of this, a home with older kids may be best. He’s an enthusiastic eater, so feeding him with elevated bowls or a slow feeder would be helpful.
Due to his agility and interest in critters, a tall, secure fence or supervised yard time is ideal. He may need a little patience as he builds confidence with things like car rides, but he’s already shown he adapts well.
Overall, Lowell is a loving, well-rounded dog who will make a wonderful companion.
