In a Nutshell: Lydia just arrived to us on 7/21, and we are still getting to know her, but so far her foster says:
“Lydia is an adorable puppy with a playful spirit and an even sweeter personality. She's the kind of pup who wins people over with her cute face, happy attitude, and loving nature. She's smart, eager to explore, and ready to learn everything life has to offer.
One of Lydia's biggest strengths is how social she is! She loves other dogs and coexists well with cats and kids of all ages. Like any young puppy, Lydia is learning the ropes with potty training and her crate.
She's making progress with potty training, though she'll need a family committed to keeping her on a consistent routine as she continues to grow. She's also working on becoming more comfortable being alone.
Right now, she prefers to have her people nearby and will bark or whine if she's crated where she can't see them. The good news is that she sleeps through the night in her crate when it's placed close to her foster family's bed, showing she's already making progress.
Lydia is full of love, curiosity, and puppy charm. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion and are excited to help a young pup learn and grow, Lydia is ready to fill your home with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of tail wags!
She will be available for adoption beginning with the Worth the Wait List prior to general adoption applications. Puppies may be invited to adoption events or walk-in adoption days if they get through or have no WTWL interest.
